At least 15 JMB terrorists have entered the West Bengal border from the neighboring country since the beginning of this year.
Kolkata: At least 15 terrorists of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) have entered the border of West Bengal from the neighboring country since the beginning of this year and 10 of them have migrated to different parts of India including Jammu and Kashmir. According to an STF official, the remaining five out of 15 terrorists stayed in West Bengal, out of which three terrorists of Bangladeshi origin were arrested on Sunday from Haridevpur area of South Kolkata. Also Read – 2 Al Qaeda terrorists arrested from Lucknow, ATS recovered pressure cooker bomb
The STF officer said that during interrogation of the three terrorists, it was found that 10 suspected terrorists of JMB have gone to different parts of Odisha, Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir. The STF is looking for Sheikh Saqeel and Salim Munshi of JMB present in Bengal. The arrested JMB terrorists have been identified as Naziur Rehman, Rabiul Islam and Sabir, all of whom used to sell fruits and mosquito nets for a living.
