Lallan Rajbhar, brother of BJP leader and former MP Babban Rajbhar, lost the election for the post of Principal from Gajiapur Gram Panchayat of Seer Kshetra Panchayat and Alok Singh of BJP MP Neeraj Shekhar from Majhauwa of Alok Singh Seer Kshetra Panchayat. However, Anand Chaudhary, son of BSP leader and former minister Ambika Chaudhary, has won the election from ward number 44 of the district panchayat.
Significantly, the counting of three-stage panchayat elections held in four phases last month was done on May 2.
