After the meeting, Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta said that schools will be opened for all classes above class 6 in the state. Along with this, all colleges will also be opened. He told that the schools will remain closed for the students below the sixth standard. Classes will resume from 8 am to 12 noon for students of class 6 and above. Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the government has decided to reopen religious places as well. He said that a maximum of 100 devotees will be allowed every hour at big religious places, while 50 percent of the total capacity will be allowed in small religious places. COVID guidelines need to be followed. At the same time, restaurants will be allowed till 11 pm.

He told that we are ready to allow the opening of restaurants and shops on Sunday. At the same time, the ban on ‘darshan’ in pandals will continue during Durga Puja, but worship will be allowed but prasad will not be distributed. Idols will be allowed to be up to 5 feet high.
