The fifth merit cum seat allotment list for admission in the district’s Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) has been released on Friday. Now the students’ admission will be confirmed after the verification of the allotted seats and the fee payment process is completed. Admission to institutions under the fifth merit list will continue till November 26. Along with this, the application process for the students who have not yet been admitted, has started from Friday. These students will get the opportunity to enroll in the sixth counseling.

Four days to pay fees from today

On November 20, the fifth merit-less seat allotment list has been released according to the schedule for admission of vacant seats in ITI institutes. Earlier, the admission process under the fourth round was completed by 16 November. From Friday, the process of verification of documents in institutions has also started. The verification work will be done on 20 and 21 November, while from 21 November, students will be able to pay the fees on the allotted seats. For this, students will get four days till November 24. Admission of students who process fee payment in the scheduled time will be considered as confirmed.

Chance of option change from 28 to 30

After the completion of the fifth round process, the department will release a list of vacant seats in the institutions on November 27. On these vacant seats, students will be given a chance to change the option of trade or institute from 28 to 30 November. At the same time, the portal for fresh application for students has also opened from Friday. Students can apply for admission on vacant seats from 20 to 28 November. The merit list will be released by the department on December 2 for the sixth counseling. By December 7, students will get a chance to pay fees, while the seat confirmation process will be completed by December 9.

Seats vacant due to lack of online application

Merit list is being issued by the department for counseling in ITI, even though the institutes are not filling the seats. Initially, three counseling rounds were scheduled. But the admission schedule for the fourth and fifth rounds was released after 70 percent seats were vacant. At the same time, the schedule for the sixth round has been set. According to the principals, students have given less priority to the best courses in the application. This is the reason why even trades with dual trainer system providing 100% employment are not getting admission. This time, the process which was completely online is also due to which the students could not get guidance completely.

Seek information from the institute by following Kovid rules – Gajendra Kumar, Principal, ITI NIT:

The lack of knowledge of students and lack of selection of trades in online applications is the reason why the institutes are unable to fill seats even in the best trades. There is still a chance in the sixth round. If there is any dilemma, students can come to the institute and get information about trades. They will be allowed to visit the institute following the Kovid rules. The list has been released for the fifth round. At the same time, the portal for the sixth round application has also been opened.
