PUBG India’s parent company Crafton has appointed Anish Arvind as India’s new Country Director.

Anesh Arvind has almost 15 years of experience in the gaming industry. He has previously worked with gaming industry giants Zenga and Tencent. Prior to Crafton Inc., he was head of South Asia at Tencent.

PUBG was banned in India on September 2, 2020 after escalating tensions with China. So far, there is no update on when PUBG will be officially launched in India. The Indian government did not even give PUBG officials a chance to present their case.

PUBG mobile game company Crafton Inc. is trying to enter India. There are reports that Crafton Inc. has made several more appointments after making Anish the head of state. According to the report, the company has hired Akash Jamed as a visual content designer. Piyush Agarwal has been appointed as Finance Manager. Arpita Priyadarshini has been appointed as Senior Community Manager and Karan Pathak as Senior Sports Manager.
