New ‘expired media’ feature on WhatsApp, learn how to work here

WhatsApp is constantly coming up with new features to enhance its user experience. WhatsApp 2.20.201.6 beta version of Android has a glimpse of the new feature ‘Expiring Media’. In this feature, media files sent to users, such as images, videos and GIFs, automatically disappear once viewed. WABetaInfo shared some screenshots of this feature. WhatsApp will notify users who have received messages about expired media features via a pop-up notification. In this pop-up the user will see “This media will disappear after leaving this chat” which means this media file will disappear as soon as you leave this chat. It is something like Snapchat. Where the chat disappears as soon as the user leaves the chat. He receives such messages as soon as the user receives any media file. The reference is part of the latest WhatsApp beta version. However, this feature is not visible to end users. While the feature is making progress in terms of previously published data, it can be expected that it may be made available to at least beta testers in the future.
