The government is trying to make tourism an economic activity throughout the year. Many new initiatives have been taken for this. In addition to building ‘133 district-13 new tourist centers’, initiatives are being taken to develop many more tourist centers. The Chardham road plan and the Ishikesh-Karnaprayag railway are being constructed at a fast pace. It will help in the movement of travelers and travelers in the state.
The CM said that Covid 19 has affected the tourism business of the state like other regions. For the last six months, efforts have been made to prevent stagnation in the tourism business. Steps are being taken to start areas like hotel, rafting, film shooting, Chardham Jatra. For this a guide line has also been prepared under SOP.
The Chief Minister said that this phase of the global epidemic would soon come to an end and the tourism business of filming Devbhoomi, Chardham Jatra and other natural places would begin to appear in its former form.
