As part of preparations for the corona vaccination campaign, the Department of Health has asked all districts to prepare a micro-plan for vaccination. Under this, the names of health workers in each booth and the names of the employees posted in the booths have been asked to be sent for hundreds of vaccines applied in one day. It is learned that in the first phase, 94,000 health workers in the state had to be vaccinated with corona vaccine.
For this, the government has completed preparations related to cold chain. 317 cold chain points have been set up across the state to make the vaccine available to the people. Vaccination booths should be set up in schools in every district. All district magistrates have also been asked to identify booths and submit reports.
Vaccination challenges in 279 regions of Uttarakhand
According to the state government’s plan for vaccination, 299 areas have been identified in the state where the challenge of providing vaccines to the people has been challenged and reports have been sought from district magistrates for these remote areas identified on the basis of old vaccination campaigns. It is known that the second step in coronary vaccination is to vaccinate people over the age of sixty and sick. These people will live in every part of the state.
In such cases these people will be identified and collected in a place where they can be vaccinated while maintaining a cold chain. There are currently a total of 279 regions in the state where it may be difficult to supply vaccines or people. Apart from this, separate vaccinations have also been planned for workers and slum dwellers.
Drones can be used to deliver vaccines
The state’s civil aviation department has also offered to use drones to deliver vaccines to remote areas. However, no final decision has been taken by the health department in this regard. Schools have to be used as booths for vaccination. State schools are usually accessible in these places. However there are some inaccessible places where there may be problems in providing people and vaccines. The idea is to get to these places in this situation
Vaccination mock drill in the state on January 2nd
The state has decided to conduct mock drills on January 2 to vaccinate against corona. Under this, the preparations made by the government so far will be examined. It is learned that the central government had directed all the states to reconsider their coronary vaccination preparations as well. The exercise has already taken place in two districts of four states two days ago.
While in some states, the rehearsal will be held on January 1. In view of this, the state government has decided to conduct mock drills on January 2nd. Health Director-in-Charge Dr Saroj Naithani said the state would conduct a coronary vaccination exercise on January 2. In addition to maintaining winter discipline, the mahal will be able to send people to the booth, distribute SMS, vaccinate and keep the booth for thirty minutes.
24 lakh people of the state have to be vaccinated
The central government has promised to vaccinate 20 per cent of the people in the state in the first phase. Accordingly, about 24 lakh population of the state will be vaccinated in the next few months to start vaccination by health workers. Then the elderly will be vaccinated and then the number of sick people will come. The number of these three classes of people under the Chahal period is estimated to be 20 per cent of the population of the state i.e. about 24 lakhs.
