On Tuesday, several major steps were taken to provide relief to Uttarakhand roads, which were stuck in a deep economic crisis due to Corona. The Transport Corporation Board has increased the age limit for buses by two years. Also, commercial use of several companies and new tests were approved to increase revenue. It was also agreed to give 2,000 sq m of land to the Gas Authority of India at the workshop in Paribahan Nagar.
Roadways management has been asked to prepare a survival plan to overcome the economic crisis. However, this board meeting proved to be a shock for the staff. The deceased will be appointed on contract basis instead of regularly in the dependent department. It was also decided to keep the pay cut unchanged.
The two-hour meeting, chaired by AC Radha Raturi, chairman of the board at the secretariat, detailed the economic position of the road. Roadways MD Ranveer Singh Chauhan was also present at the meeting. Here GM Deepak Jain informed that the board has taken several important decisions. Since the bus is not running, it has been decided to pay honorarium to the employees at the rate of labor department.
– The age of the vehicle condom will be seven years instead of six on the mountain and eight years on the straight path
– The bus will go off-route after running eight lakh km continuously instead of six lakh km
Supreme Court approves submission of caveats on roadway in UP Rs 28 crore dispute over property sharing
-Birth dependent persons will get contract employment instead of permanent employment
– Contractor / Special Department Driver and Conductor will get minimum salary of Rs. 9,124 from Labor Department rate.
– Due to the financial crisis, the objection to the rebate for the remaining allowances of roadway officers and employees will remain unchanged for the time being.
