To become the District Panchayat President, it is necessary to win the election of the District Panchayat member (Zila Panchayat Sadasya Chunav). Now before this, after winning the election on the ticket of SP, she had reached the chair of the District Panchayat President, but this time she could not even become a member of the District Panchayat, leaving the SP. BJP district president Pradeep Chauhan said that Sandhya Yadav was the president of the district panchayat and she had won the last election on a SP ticket, but later joined the BJP and contested as a BJP candidate but lost. At the same time, Vandana Yadav, wife of SP MLA Rajkumar alias Raju Yadav from Mainpuri, was trying his luck for the District Panchayat member from ward number 28 but he was defeated by Independent candidate German Yadav.
