Jaitpura police have had great success in investigating the renewal of fake Meraj Ahmed’s arms license near Mukhtar. Jaitpura police on Saturday leaked a fake treasury consignment making team and arrested a young man, who was a five-time state champion in pistol shooting. He is also a firing instructor at the Cantonment Rifle Club. Meraj Ahmed, a close associate of Mukhtar, was found guilty of forging an arms license.
Police officer SP Singh said he had met Advocate Saroj Bishwakarma and guard Rambachan Chauhan at SBI’s main branch in Kachari a year ago during the shooting. Rambachan retired from the army. Saroj Bishwakarma had previously worked closely with Asla Babu.
Saroj said that Bishwakarma used to pay the shooter to submit to the treasury after taking an invoice report for renewal of people’s arms licenses. Get the bank seal through the guard in the invoice report. After that, instead of depositing money in the treasury, he would sign a forgery himself. The Treasury then handed over to the Advocate. The money received for the treasury invoice was distributed equally among the three.
Jayatpur inspector Shashibhushan Roy said he had used fake treasury invoices not only to renew arms licenses but also for other purposes. It is not noticed, so this is being done. Police have also filed a case against advocate Saroj Bishwakarma and guard Rambachan. Both are fugitives.
Police arrested SP Singh, a resident of Ghosabad in Nader, near a petrol pump near the city station. He currently works at this pump. Three fake treasury invoices worth Rs 3,500 were also recovered from him.
