Nine people were infected with Kovid-19 during a raid on three saloons in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. An official from the health department said the decision was made to conduct raids wherever possible to ensure a rapid increase in the number of infected people. He said the first day was focused on haircut salons and beauty parlors, and nine people were infected with rapid antigen detection in three salons, including the local franchise of the Javed Habib haircut salon chain.

Sources in the health department said, ‘In the last 24 hours, a maximum of 72 people have been infected in Mathura. It has been decided to launch special operations in areas where more cases are coming and where social distance and other rules are neglected.
He said the first operation in the series was carried out on Wednesday at the Javed Habib Hair Cutting Salon in the Krishnanagar area of Govardhan Road, where three people were found to have been infected for rapid antigen testing. According to officials, the same situation was seen at Shadow Beauty Paular and ‘Looks Cutting Salon’ located at Moti Manzil Multiplex. Three infected people were found in both places.
Jitendra Kumar Singh, PRO, CMO office, said, “Tests conducted so far in government and private laboratories in the district have confirmed the infection in a total of 1,065 samples.” “Of these, 722 infections have been confirmed in a single day,” he said. On Wednesday, 67,672 samples were sent, of which 60,000 could not be confirmed, while the rest were confirmed to be infected. In the district, 42 patients have died due to corona infection.
