Railways has announced to run several special trains ahead of the upcoming festival. The schedule of these trains has also been announced. A weekly puja special train will run through Varanasi and Katra via Lucknow to catch a glimpse of Mata Vaishno Devi. Train No. 04612 Srimata Vaishno Devi Katra-Varanasi Weekly Super Fast Express Special Train will run from 25th October to 29th November. You will walk from Katra every Sunday at 11:30 pm and reach Varanasi at 11.35 pm the next day. In return, train number 04611 Varanasi-Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Super Fast Weekly Express will run from 27th October to 1st December. Every Tuesday, it will leave Varanasi at 06.35 am and reach Katra at 06.50 am the next day. The train will stop at Udhampur, Jammutvi, Pathankot Cantonment, Jalandhar Cantonment, Ludhiana, Ambala, Saharanpur, Muradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur stations.

Manduwadih-New Delhi Superflas

Train No. 02581 Manduwadih-New Delhi Super Flood will leave Manduwadih at 10:30 pm on October 20 to November 30 and reach Delhi the next day via Jnanpur Road, Prayagraj, Kanpur Central, Ghaziabad. In return, train number 02582 New Delhi-Manduwadih Superfast will run from 20 October to 1 December. The train, which leaves New Delhi at 10 pm every day, has four general class 04, sleeper class 09, air-conditioned second class 01, air-conditioned first class 01 and five air-conditioned third class coaches.

Manduvadih-Rameshwaram

Train No. 01120 Manduwadih-Rameshwaram Special will run from Manduwadih every Sunday from October 24 to November 29 at 9 pm. It will reach Vijayawada on the third day, Rameshwaram on the fourth day at 4.30 pm, stop at Jhanpur Road, Prayagraj, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur etc. on the return journey, train number 01119 Rameshwaram-Manduwadih every Wednesday from 26 October to 2 December. The train will leave Rameshwaram and reach Manduwadih at around 5.45 am. The train has three ordinary, Slipper Nine, AC second one, five third class coaches.

Bathinda-Varanasi Superfast

Train No. 04998 Bathinda – Varanasi Weekly Superfast Train will run every Sunday from 25th October to 29th November. He will leave Batinda every Sunday at 8.50 pm and reach Varanasi at 4.30 pm the next day. In return, train number 04997 Varanasi-Bathinda will run from 26 October to 30 November. It will leave Varanasi at 11.20 am every Monday and reach Batinda at 4.50 pm the next day. It will stop at Rampura Phul, Barnala, Patiala, Ambala Cantonment, Muradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow and Sultanpur.

Shalipur-Gorakhpur

Train No. 05021 Shalipur-Gorakhpur Weekly Puja Special Train will run from 27th October to 01st December. It will leave Shalimar every Tuesday at 8:20 pm and leave Varanasi at 11:55 am on the second day. Will reach Gorakhpur at 04:25 in the afternoon. In return, train number 05022 Gorakhpur-Shalimar weekly train will run from 26 October to 30 November. It will leave Gorakhpur every Monday at 40:15 pm and reach Varanasi at 06.40 pm. This train will reach Shalimar at 10:05 am the next day. The train has seven general coaches, eight sleepers, three AC class coaches and one each for second and first class. The train will also stop at Tatanagar, Bhojudih, Koderma, Sasaram, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay John, Audihar, Mau, Bhatni, Deoria.
