The contracted bus, which killed six passengers in the Pilivit accident, was traveling illegally. There was no such route for passenger buses between Lucknow and Pilivit. This bus was on its way to nationalization of the Transport Corporation. However, the general contract bus service is prohibited on the Red Corridor route

The game of misleading buses is under the patronage of the officials of the Transport Corporation. The Pilivit-Lucknow route is the route of the Red Corridor. So only buses owned by the Transport Corporation operate on this route. The revelation of the incident in the investigation of the accident has caused a stir among the officials of Bare Li area at the corporation headquarters.
