Train movement was not normal due to the ongoing peasant movement in Punjab. Due to this the problem of passengers has increased. Alam is that people have to face many problems to go home even during the festival.
The railway has canceled more than a dozen trains including Jan Shatabdi Express, Chandigarh-Lucknow, Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Express passing through Saharanpur till November 4.
Apart from these, half a dozen trains including Golden Temple Express, Amritsar New Jalpaiguri Express, Dibrugarh Amritsar Express will run till the middle. These trains will return from Ambala and Saharanpur. There will be a cantilever between Ambala and Amritsar.

In Punjab, trains have been canceled and stopped for a short period due to the peasant movement. Train traffic will be affected till November 4. This includes several trains passing through Saharanpur. Further decisions will be made after November 4.
