An official of the state public relations department said that the chief minister would sit at the Gandhi statue at Minto Hall in the city from 12 noon on Tuesday, April 24 for a 24-hour health request. The chief minister will also hold a coroner’s meeting at the place, the official said, adding that the chief minister’s office would be run under the open sky near the Gandhi statue at Minto Hall during the 24-hour health request. Kamal Nath said, “Whenever the people of the state need a government, justice is needed. If the situation in the state worsens, instead of tackling the challenge, our Shivraj starts organizing fasting-satyagraha to draw attention to the issues.”
An official of the Madhya Pradesh Health Department said that 33,996 new cases of coronavirus were found on Monday, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus to 3,10,499 so far. The disease has killed 15 more people in the last 24 hours in the state. The death toll from the disease in the state has reached 4,055 so far.
