Four people, including a couple, were killed in Gamla’s Raidih on Monday night in a case of illicit love affair. The shocking incident took place in Deragadih village of Seoki panchayat in Gomla district. A woman in the village first killed her husband Marianas Kuzur along with her boyfriend and her partner. Upon learning of the matter, the villagers caught the woman, her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s accomplice trio. After beating the three to death, they cut them off with an ax. The deceased have been identified as Sudip Dundung and Prakash Kullu, residents of Nangdar in Kersai police station area of Sumedgai.
Marianas Kujur was a mason in Pune. He returned to the village before the lockdown. Sudip and Prakash reached his house from Mopade around 10 pm on Monday and cut Marianas with an ax after stabbing him at home. At that time, the villagers gathered after hearing the noise and caught Sudip and Prakash hiding in Gohle after the murder. The mob tied the three and beat them with sticks and cut them with an ax.
Police found out about the incident around 6 am on Tuesday. After that the police reached the village. Later SP Hridip P Janardhanan appeared with the team. From there, police recovered the stick, stick, legs and a moped used in the murder. DIG Ake Zhao arrived at 4 pm and took information about the incident from the police officers.
SP Janardhanan said the incident was due to an illicit relationship. Police are investigating the case. Villagers involved in the incident will be identified and action will be taken against them.
