To date, Coal India has been issuing vacancies on campus or re-appointing selected officers through written examinations and interviews. Now the coal officers will be recovered through the gate score. Corona is the reason for the change in recovery policy.
On the issue, a senior Coal India official told Hindustan that the reinstatement of 13,226 Coal officials in Coal India due to Corona has so far failed to interview shortlisted candidates. In this regard the new recovery will now be considered through the gate score. However, the reinstatement of 1326 officers will be subject to the previous process, whatever the time. The officer said the interview would take place as Corona’s influence diminished.

It is learned that Coal India has already published on its website a list of more than four thousand shortlisted candidates for the reinstatement of 1326 officers. It was also reported that due to Corona, the date of the interview has not been decided. In December 2019, 1326 coal officers were re-resigned. The online test took place in February 2020. By this time, the candidates had completed the selection process and contributed as management trainees. Online test results were delayed by three months due to the lockdown. If the test results are released, the interview cannot be conducted.
New posts of Coal India officers will remain vacant in the new year. Considering Mission One billion tons, coal is needed by Indian officials. The new recovery will be done through the gate score so that Cole India does not have to put in extra effort to recover. According to a tweet from Coal India, management trainees (management trainees) engineering graduates will be recruited by Coal India Limited. According to the recruitment information published by CIL, applicants will have to take the GATE (GTA) 2021 exam. Gate will be recruited on the basis of 2021 scores. Online registration for inclusion at GATE 2021 will be from 14 September to 30 September 2020.
