Normal rainfall has continued in the state for the last four days due to active monsoon. According to meteorologists, it will rain in the eastern part of the state on Sunday. Rainfall is likely to decrease from September 28.
In the last 24 hours, Birpur received 150 mm, Tayabpur 140 mm, Kishanganj and Rewaghat 120 mm, Bonya and Bahadurganj 90 mm, Baishali, Thakurganj, Tribeniganj and Dengraghat 60 mm.
Seasonal arrangement of rain
The region of low pressure has shifted from West Bihar to East Bihar. Also, cyclonic winds are 3.1 km above sea level. The axis of the monsoon hole also passes through eastern Bihar through low-lying areas in northeastern India. Due to this monsoon system, heavy rainfall is forecast in several districts of Eastern Bihar.
This is the mercury of the state
Mercury in the state’s major cities remained below normal on Saturday. Patna recorded the lowest mercury at 29.4 degrees Celsius, followed by Gaya at 31.6 degrees Celsius, Bhagalpur at 29 degrees Celsius and Purnia at 227.6 degrees Celsius. In the last 3 36 hours, Bhagalpur received 45 mm of rain and Purnia received 26.6 mm of rain. According to meteorologists, partial rain is expected in Bhagalpur and Purnia on Sunday. Patna and Gaya are also expected to be partly cloudy and rainy.
