In Bhagalpur, Bihar, a mother of six children and a married daughter suffocated to death with her boyfriend. The incident took place in Hasanganj of Babarganj police station area of the district. Here, the woman killed her husband Nandakishore Mandal, 45, of Chandravanpur in Sajaur police station area. Police have arrested Meena Devi, Nandakishore’s wife, on charges of murder. At the same time, his alleged girlfriend Jatta alias Krishna escaped. Police are looking for the woman’s boyfriend.
The body was right in front of the house
Nandakishore’s son-in-law Shatrughan Mandal said in a statement to the police that his mother-in-law Meena Devi called him around 4 pm on Thursday and informed him that Nandakishore had died. Upon receiving the information, he came and saw his body lying in front of the house where Nandakishore lived. He said, Nanda Kishore’s tongue came out. He asked his mother-in-law the reason for the murder, but she did not answer. Police arrested Meena Devi in her statement and sent the body for postmortem. Nandakishore used to cook. She has six children.
The house was rented in a secluded place
Nandakishore’s son-in-law Shatrughan and son Jitendra said that Jatta alias Krishna is a resident of Saroch in Sajaur. Many years ago he chased away Meena Devi. He used to come and stay with Nandakishore. Nandakishore lived in Mirzan. Chahal had the initiative so Jatta started having trouble coming and planned to kill. So a few days ago he converted the house and got a rented house in a secluded place of Shivnagar Colony in Hassanganj.
The boyfriend came at night, everyone cooked and ate eggs
Police interrogation further revealed that the woman’s lover Jatta alias Krishna was also with Nandakishore and Meena on Wednesday night. Everyone cooked and ate eggs. Nandakishore’s body was lying in front of the house in the morning. When people in the neighborhood show Meena Devi that she was drunk, her husband died due to intoxication. The body sent for postmortem wrote about suffocation.
