The houses of five traders were looted in one night in Muzaffarpur

Robbers from Kanti police station in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur raided Gopalpur in Madhuwan panchayat late Sunday night. More than five lakh rupees has been looted from the houses of four grocers and vegetable traders. Family members were also beaten for protesting. All the criminals fled when the villagers dropped the bomb.

An FIR has been lodged against the unidentified persons at Kanti police station regarding the incident. Western DSP Krishna Murari Prasad said the police have been directed to identify the culprits and expedite the matter. With this incident, vegetable trader Ajay Shah said that around 11:30 pm, the robbers broke down the door and entered the house and started looting. The robbers beat the women and took off their jewelry. The cupboards and briefcases kept in the house were broken and jewelery and cash were looted.

Then Manoj Shah, Binod Shah, Rajdev Shah’s house was looted. Looting cash ornaments from everyone’s home. Rajesh Shah was beaten and beheaded during the abduction. The robbers also detonated bombs as villagers began to gather during the looting. After that everyone fled. The number of robbers was more than a dozen. All faces were tied.

After getting information about the robbery in Gopalpur, Kanti police reached the spot and started investigation. On Monday, RJD leader Haider Azad, JDU leader. Jamal, District Councilor. Several villagers, including Rizwan, former chief Habibur Rahman Bablu, took up the cause of the victim. Everyone demanded the rescue of the goods and the speedy arrest of the robbers involved in the incident.
