A teenage girl (about eight years old) from Sonbarsa police station area of ​​Sitamarhi district in Bihar was strangled to death after being raped. The miscreants hid the child’s body under a tree in a secluded litchi garden next to the village with the intention of hiding the evidence. On Sunday afternoon, the women who were going to cut the grass saw the feet of a child lying on the grass under the tree and shouted. After that a crowd of people gathered there. When people removed the weeds and removed the corpse, it was marked. The child’s body was found half-dead.

Upon receiving the news, Gaurishankar Baitha of Sonbarsa police station reached the spot and investigated. The body was taken away and sent for autopsy. The SHO said the body was likely to be hidden in the grass after the girl was strangled to death. The body has been identified, he said. Police tried to identify the miscreants by installing CCTV cameras at a petrol pump near the spot. At the time of writing, the victim’s family did not respond. Further action will be taken after receiving the statement. Police are currently investigating at this stage. The SHO said no culprit involved in the incident would be spared. Sadar DSP Ramakanta Upadhyay also came to Sonbarsa in the evening to investigate the case.

The family searched all night
