On Saturday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar accused the opposition of dividing the society for voting against him and giving him only interest to the people if given the opportunity. Addressing an election rally in Nabinagar, Aurangabad, Nitish Kumar said that some people were busy dividing the society in the voting circle. He has no work experience or he has never done any work.
He pointed out to RJD chief Lalu Prasad that the couple had ruled for 15 years, but what did they do at that time? Indirectly attacking the RJD chief, Kumar said that he was still inside (the jail), and that he was still inside because of what he had done… more people would go inside. He claimed that they only worked for themselves when our goal was to serve the public.
Appealing for a mandate from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the chief minister said Bihar would not lag behind but would be able, self-reliant and move forward. He called upon the people to give the state another chance to move forward on the path of progress and development. Kumar said that besides the state, the central government has also provided assistance under various projects and every class has benefited and been honored. In this context, he also mentioned conservation measures for economic reasons.
Kumar said that if men and women worked together, development would be doubled. “Earlier only a few women were able to enter the panchayat state, we gave reservations and now a huge number of women are coming forward,” she said. “We have done more advanced treatment while improving the condition of the hospital,” Kumar said. He said he has worked in every field like education, health, development.
The Chief Minister said that we have controlled crime … we have worked for social reform and ban on alcohol under the direction of women. He said that he started a skilled youth program for young people who do not know how to work on computers and it trained 1 million young people. Kumar said that we are sure that irrigation water should reach every land. It will not let it dry anywhere. We are working on an agricultural roadmap, in addition to which we will also take care of animal health.
