The Chief Minister was speaking through video conferencing on the occasion of inauguration and laying of foundation stone of water supply and sewerage project in Bihar on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister called upon the Prime Minister to consider whether the 24-hour supply of drinking water to the families under the water supply project is environmentally sound. Drinking water should be supplied in sufficient quantity at a certain time. This will end the environmental crisis and maintain the groundwater level.

Inauguration and foundation stone of various projects worth Tk. 543.28 crore

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various 543.28 crore projects related to water supply and sewerage in Bihar. These projects are linked to the Centre’s Namami Ganga and Amrut Yojana. These include Beor and Karmalik Sewerage Treatment Centers in Patna as well as projects related to Siwan, Chapra, Mungar, Jamalpur, Muzaffarpur.

The Prime Minister has launched several projects related to Fisheries and Petroleum on September 10 and 13. Following this, the foundation stone of the urban development project has been completed.

Before the Bihar Assembly elections, the Modi government has been consistently giving Bihar a central plan. On September 13, Prime Minister Modi launched three projects worth Rs 901 crore in Bihar. These include the inauguration of the 193 km long pipeline of the Durgapur-Banka section of the Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur pipeline and the inauguration of an LPG bottling center at a cost of Tk 131 crore to the bank. At the same time, a new LPG plant was also set up at Sugauli in East Champaran at a cost of Rs 136 crore.

At the same time, on September 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over schemes worth Rs 294.53 crore to Bihar on fisheries, animal husbandry and agriculture. At the time, the Prime Minister announced the launch of a project worth Tk 107 crore under the Fisheries Resources Scheme. During this period, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Bakhri Fish Seed Farm at Dumra in Sitamari, the Fisheries College at Kishanganj for Rs 10 crore and the Aquatic Referral Laboratory at Bihar Veterinary University, Patna. Inaugurated 2 crore fish draft on wheels of Patna, 1 crore fish feed mill in Madhepura, 2.8787 crore agricultural university, integrated fish production technology center in Pusar.

On the other hand, Purnia Semen Station at a cost of Tk 64.27 crore, Embryo Transfer Technology in Patna and IVF Lab at a cost of Tk 6.06 crore, have launched ready-made sex-certified semen projects at a cost of Tk 2.13 crore in Begusarai, Khagaria, Samastipur, Nalanda and Gaya. He inaugurated the Tk 11 crore Agriculture University and Rural Management School University Samastipur Building, Tk 227 crore Boys Hostel, Tk 25 crore Stadium and Tk 11 crore International Guest House.
