‘Thumb Imprint’ BRA has also applied for PG admission in Bihar University. This has been revealed in the investigation of the UMIS (University Management and Information System) team of the university. While applying online for admission in PG, one student from Sitamarhi completed 655% with a bachelor’s degree. However, instead of a marksheet, he uploaded a thumbprint to the form. The university rejected his application.
One student did the first division to earn a bachelor’s degree. Where he has attached the receipt of LIC instead of the marksheet. So far, the investigation has found one and a half thousand applications in a defective condition. UMIS coordinator Dr Lalan Jha said that Sitamari students have put thumbprints in place of marksheets. Its application has been rejected. It is said that there is unrest in the number of not one or two hundred. Each form is being examined.
Letter uploaded for naming of Ayurveda Center
In the PG online application, a student uploaded a letter to change the name of the Ayurveda Center instead of the marksheet. This letter is in the name of Haridwar. The student has requested to change the name of his center. Applications are sent to the university through online application.
Marksheet will be examined after admission
DSW Dr Abhay Kumar Singh said that so far irregularities have been found in the applications of about one and a half thousand students. Everyone is different. A new merit list will be prepared. He said the marksheet will be examined after admission. If DSW finds any wrongdoing in this, legal action will be taken by canceling the admission.
