Bihar Assembly Election 2020 is full of millionaire candidates. Each party has all the candidates whose assets are crores. The nomination process for the first round of voting has been completed. In the October 27, 711-seat election, 1,065 candidates are trying their luck. According to the election affidavit, more than one and a half hundred candidates are millionaires. In this case, all teams are equal. Nitish Kumar’s party JDU’s Manorama Devi is contesting as the richest candidate.
According to the affidavits of the candidates, and0 per cent of the NDA candidates and 56 per cent of the grand alliance candidates are millionaires. Chirag Paswan’s party has given 25 per cent tickets to LJP millionaire candidates. There are 25 candidates from JDU, 29 from RJD and 23 from LJP. The richest is JDU’s Manorama Devi. According to the election affidavit, his total assets were Rs 53.19 crore. In second place is Rajesh Kumar of the Congress, with a net worth of over Rs 33.5 crore. Kaushal Yadav of JDU is also at number three in the rich list. The total assets of the skilled are more than Tk. 226 crore.
Where are the rich candidates beating?
The richest candidate in the first round is JDU’s Manorama Devi. The party has fielded him from Atari assembly constituency in Gaya district. Rajesh Kumar of the Congress is on the rich list, he is beating the Kutumba seat in Aurangabad district. At the same time, Kaushal Yadav of JDU is contesting from Naoda City Assembly seat in Naoda district.
