Voting will take place on October 26 in the first phase of all Gair assembly constituencies. Candidates can be enrolled from October 2. However, the list of candidates of any important party has not been prepared yet. It is not clear from which alliance which party will contest.
By Friday, potential candidates who were trying to create wind in their favor are now trying to correct their lineage with the party leadership. Everyone is presenting their demands as strong, demanding work done in their own way, consolidation of castes, status of previous elections, etc. However, experts say that there are many such seats in Gaya where it is not yet clear which party of the NDA and which party of the grand alliance will contest the elections.
This is also because the JDU was with the grand alliance in the 2015 elections. Now the JDU is with the NDA. In such a situation, there are many such seats in the ten assembly constituencies of the district on the basis of which the JDU candidates are presenting their demands. He is going to the area and strengthening his side. Two candidates from the same party are campaigning in Wazirganj and Belaganj constituencies. There were no barriers from the party. The party’s district president says many times leaders also want to make their own assessments. As soon as the leaders take the field, the team becomes stronger somewhere. Later, when someone’s candidacy is decided, it is the team’s duty to support each other and make the candidate the winner. Gaya currently has five MLAs from the Grand Alliance and the NDA. That is, the knot is stiff. The highest RJD is four, two from BJP, two from JDU, one from Congress and one from us.
Gaya Assembly: Congress and CPI demand of the grand alliance
Gaya has retained the city assembly seat for the last five consecutive BJP elections. The Congress and the CPI are claiming the seat on behalf of the grand alliance as rivals to the BJP. CPI district secretary Sitaram Sharma said the CPI was contesting from Gaya Urban constituency. He said the CPI had contested nine times from here where seven times it was in second place. Congress is in second place in two terms. He said the decision of the grand alliance would be the final decision. Congress district president Chandrika Yadav said the Congress has full demands for the Gaya Urban seat. In the grand alliance, the Congress has this seat in Kota. In the past too, the Congress has won consecutive elections from here. Congress will finalize the name of its candidate by October 2. RJD district president Murshid Alam alias Nizam said the decision of the party high command was acceptable.
Bodhgaya Assembly: Bodhgaya candidate hot seat was created
Political zealots have intensified in Bihar. In this year’s Corona era, the Assembly elections will have a different look. This time, the battle for the Bodh Gaya Assembly seat in Gaya district looks interesting. So far, the party workers are confused in announcing the names of the candidates. At the same time, ticket-seeking leaders are setting up camp in Patna and trying to get tickets with their political reach. However, after announcing the date of the election, the electoral mercury is talking here. RJD’s Kumar Sarbajit Bodhgaya is the MLA. Apart from RJD, many other parties including BJP and JDU are demanding to field their own candidates. In this situation, the question has arisen as to who will be the candidate of BJP or JDU from NDA in front of RJD. At the same time, supporters of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manji are busy making this seat a hot seat by presenting their demands.
