Considered the God of Cricket, Tendulkar tested positive for Kovid-19 on March 27 and was admitted to hospital a few days later. He confirmed this in a tweet on April 2.
“Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. I have been admitted to the hospital due to the advice and caution of medical experts. I will be back in the country in a few days. You all take care of yourself,” he wrote.
