India-Sri Lanka series to be played from 18th July after Kovid case: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah

The Indian team is scheduled to play three ODIs on the Sri Lanka tour on July 18, 20 and 23 at the Premadasa Stadium, while the T20 matches will start from July 25.

The limited overs cricket series between India and Sri Lanka will now start from July 18 after a case of corona infection came to light in the Sri Lankan squad. According to the schedule decided by the India and Sri Lanka boards, the series was earlier to start from July 13 but it was extended for four days after Sri Lankan batting coach Grant Flower and data analyst GT Niroshan tested positive for coronavirus. The Sri Lankan team had returned from touring Britain.
