England has had to make a lot of changes in the management of its players after the case of Corona came to the fore in England’s limited overs team.
Team India, who went on a tour of England, will start a series of 5 Test matches against the host team from 4 August. The Indian team has been here since the beginning of June and before this series, it played the final of the World Test Championship (WTC Final) against New Zealand from 18-23 June, in which it had to face defeat. Before the Test series, the BCCI had asked the England Cricket Board (ECB) for a first-class practice match for Team India. But after the case of Corona came to light in England’s limited overs team on Tuesday, its practice match is now in trouble. Also Read – ICC Rankings: Virat-Rohit retained in top-3, Chris Woakes reached career best ranking

After losing the final of the Test Championship, it was demanded by captain Virat Kohli, after which the BCCI requested the ECB and the ECB also started planning it. The ECB and BCCI told IANS on Wednesday that there is no change or update regarding India’s series after positive cases were reported in the England camp. This means that the ECB is continuing to consider India’s request for a warm-up match ahead of the five-Test series starting in Nottingham on 4 August next month.
It remains to be seen whether the ECB will allow a first-class cricketer to play in the bio bubble and practice matches against India. The Indian team is currently on a three-week break and will start the camp in Durham from July 15. If the ECB organizes a match for the Indian team against any county team, it will happen in the coming few days.
