Young opener Prithviraj Shaw’s superb half-century and the bowlers’ superb performance led by Kagiso Rubara led Delhi to a 44-run win over Chennai Super Kings in Dubai on Friday to register their second consecutive win in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Delhi were 155 for three when they were first invited to bat and then restricted Chennai to 131 for seven. Shaw (644 off 3 balls, nine boundaries, a six) and Shikhar Dhawan (35 off 227 balls, 3 boundaries, a six) added 94 runs for the first wicket to give Delhi a great start. Hab Shaw Pant (25 off 25 balls unbeaten) and skipper Shreyas Iyer (22 off 226 balls) put on 58 for the third wicket. The Chennai batsmen could not walk in the second match in a row. From his point of view, Faf Duplessis scored the highest 43 runs after getting two lives. This is Chennai’s second consecutive defeat.
Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag took great news of Chennai’s defeat at his team’s ‘Birur Milon’ event and highly praised Delhi. He said, “Friends … although there is no comparison between Metro and Rail, Metro jawans are just like our Delhi capitals who blew the whistle on Thalahar Chennai” Sehwag scolded Dhoni for not doing so and said that even if he is not heard in the empty stadium. Surprisingly, Sehwag then praised the batting of Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan, while Piyush Chawla praised his batting. And Rabindra Jadeja also enjoyed hitting fours and sixes in bowling.

He said that Piyush and Jadeja must be thinking that after giving so many runs now they need to bathe in the Ganges to wash away their sins. Taking a risk on the Chennai batsmen, Biru said he could not believe he was playing T20. The old diesel engine Shane Watson Shocks stopped right there. After that, Faf Dupleix was seen explaining to others that it was a T20 match, not a Test match.

Sehwag pulled Dhoni again as he did not come in at number four. He said, “Thala did not come to bat even after losing wickets continuously. Now it seems that the bullet train will come, but Dhoni will not come to bat at number four. Modi ji must explain something.” However, Sehwag gave credit to the Delhi bowlers. Rabda, Akshar Patel and Amit Mishra all bowled hard to keep the Chennai batsmen at bay. “It looks like Thala was told to stay in quarantine for 14 overs, until the match was over,” Sehwag said.
Sehwag said, “There can be no comparison between Metro and Train, but Metro is as young as the Delhi team. Delhi has broken up the Chennai Army. Chennai batting was like that. “
