IPL 2020 CSK vs DC: MS Dhoni says something about his batting order while tossing

The seventh match of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is being played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals. CSK won the toss and invited the Delhi capitals to bat first. After winning the toss, Dhoni explained why he decided to bowl first, despite winning most of the batting teams in the IPL. He also commented on his batting order. CSK has been changed to Playing XI. Jung Hazlewood is playing in this match in place of Lungi NGD.

After winning the toss, Dhoni said, ‘We will bowl first. I think we should respect the situation here and the fact that Shishir will play an important role in the second innings. The teams that didn’t play in the second inning in this tournament couldn’t win, probably their fault. It looks easy to bat in the second innings on TV. Some wickets will probably decrease as the tournament progresses. But given the type of pitch given and the type of grass it will be no less a scoring tournament.

Dhoni added, ‘When you have 14 matches before the playoffs, you can’t win all the matches. We have to control Noble. We did a good job by scoring 200 runs in the last match. There are changes in the team. NGD is not playing and Hazlewood is on the team. I will do my best for the team in terms of my batting position.
