Yellow alert issued due to heavy rains in 20 districts of Gujarat, there will be plenty of rain for the next 4 days

There has been heavy rain in 190 taluks in 24 hours. In this, Porbandar, Ahmedabad, Junagadh, Sabkantha have recorded the highest rainfall.

Due to Monsoon in Gujarat, heavy rains are going to happen for the next 4 days. Yellow alert has been issued in 20 districts and Orange alert in 6 districts regarding heavy rains. According to IMD, due to cyclonic circulation, an orage alert has been issued in Rajkot Patan, Morbi, Surendranagar, Mehsana today. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued in 20 districts. In the last 24 hours, 190 talukas have received heavy rains. On an average, 85 per cent rainfall has been recorded in the state. Last year till September 27, 135 percent rain was recorded but this year less rain has been recorded as compared to last year. Presently the state is deficient in 10 per cent rainfall. In such a situation, there was 3 times more rain in the month of September. Let us tell you that the maximum rain has been seen in South Gujarat. At the same time, very little rain has been seen in some areas of Kutch and Gujarat. According to the information, many roads have been closed due to heavy rains. In these roads there are 20 roads coming under the Panchayat. At the same time, Rajkot district has the maximum number of 4 state highways in the total routes. On the other hand, 2-2 roads are closed in Banaskantha and Dahod, while 1-1 roads are closed in Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh.
