Shubham Kumar has topped the prestigious Civil Services Examination-2020, while Jagriti Awasthi has secured the second position. Shortly after the results came, Awasthi said, “After doing B.Tech from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, I got an engineering job in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Bhopal from the year 2017 to the year 2019. up to. But since childhood I had a dream to become a collector and a desire to work in the social sector. Jagriti Awasthi said that even after getting the job of an engineer, I started preparing for the Administrative Services Examination. When I could not get selected in this exam in the first attempt, then I felt that I should leave the job of engineer and prepare.
Jagriti Awasthi, who stood second in UPSC, said, “After this, I left the job of BHEL in the year 2019 and started working harder for this exam. During this, an epidemic of corona virus came, which gave more time to prepare itself and became successful in the second attempt itself.
Giving the mantra of success to the students, Jagriti Awasthi said, “Keep working hard. Have faith in yourself. Success will surely come.” Jagriti said, “After passing this exam, now my dream of working in the social sector will be fulfilled. I have a desire to contribute something good in rural development.
Apart from Awasthi, Arth Jain from Bhopal has also secured 16th rank in this prestigious examination, while Ahimsa Jain from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh has secured 53rd rank and Abhishek Khandelwal of Hoshangabad has secured 167th rank. A total of 761 candidates have qualified in this examination, out of which 545 are male and 216 are female. Enthused by his success in the second attempt, IIT Delhi graduate Arth Jain said, “I will try to give my best for the development of the country.”
Jagriti’s father Dr. SC Awasthi is a professor in the Government Homeopathy Medical College in Bhopal. She had a teacher and had left her job to prepare for her daughter. Jagriti’s younger brother is currently doing MBBS. Jagriti’s initial studies have been done from Chhatarpur city of Madhya Pradesh itself.
