Uttar Pradesh (UP) News: About 72 hours after the murder of a Kanpur businessman in Gorakhpur, a 25-year-old man working at a model liquor shop was thrashed to death by customers. The incident was captured in the CCTV installed in the shop. According to reports, the incident happened late on Thursday night, about half a kilometer away from the Ramgarh Tal police station. On Thursday some people came to the shop and ordered liquor. The delay in getting the order made the customers angry and on this Manish was also abused. The argument soon turned into a fight and the customers allegedly attacked Manish and Raghu, another staff member. The customers also called some of their friends who joined the attack and it continued for about 20 minutes. The attackers had fled by the time the police arrived. Both the injured were taken to the hospital where Manish was declared brought dead. Raghu is still admitted in the hospital where his condition is critical. Gorakhpur Police tweeted that one accused has been arrested and search is on for the rest of the accused, who are being identified from the CCTV footage. Police tweeted that a case will be registered against the accused under the National Security Act (NSA). (IANS Hindi)
