Preparations for panchayat elections have been intensified in UP. District election officials have determined the responsibilities of the BLO. Going from house to house, those who have completed 18 years of age by January 1, 2020 should be added to the voter list and the names of deceased persons and married girls should be removed from the list. So that the voting process of panchayat election can be completed. District Election Officer Kumar Prashant held a major revision meeting of the three-tier panchayat in 2020.
He said that the names of the missing voters should be included in the voter list during the door-to-door verification of the booth level official, the list should be prepared, the victims should be identified, fake verification and disabled voters should be listed in the voter list. Voter reviews should not be done sitting in the house of a particular person. Voter correction work should be done from house to house or in government buildings. ADM Administration Ritu Punia and Assistant Returning Officer Prabinder Patel, all SDMs, BDOs and ADOs were present.
There will be one observer in 20 polling booths
An observer will be appointed in 20 polling stations. There is a complete arrangement for the disabled with ramps and drinking water. Perform BLO house-to-house calculations and surveys from October 1 to November 12. You can apply online from October 1 to November 2. Applications received online from numbers six to 12 will be examined in-house. The draft voter list will be released on December 2.
