It has been revealed that lakhs of rupees have been withdrawn from the account of Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust through clone check. Attempting to withdraw this huge amount for the third time could reveal the faith. After receiving this information, a case has been filed on behalf of the trust in Ayodhya Kotwali.
Two and a half lakh rupees was withdrawn from a bank in Lucknow on September 1 and two days later through a clone check of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. When the third check of Rs 9.86 lakh was deposited in the Bank of Baroda in Lucknow itself, the trust received a call from the bank from Lucknow for verification. Trust officials have denied any such payment.
Later, the general secretary of the trust, Champat Roy, opened his account and received information that Rs 6 lakh had been withdrawn. Officials of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust have filed a case with the Ayodhya police with information about the case.
Late Wednesday night, Ayodhya police officer Rajesh Roy said the information was provided by the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust and counterfeit checks amounting to Rs 1.5 lakh had been withdrawn. According to the information given by the trust, the next activities are being started by filing a case. He said further action would be taken against the accused on the basis of investigation. The judge said the check has been cloned in the case. Any big gang can be involved in this whole game.
