Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 744th founding day of the National Metrology Conclave today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the inaugural address at the National Metrology Conclave on Monday. The main theme of the conference is ‘Metrology for Inclusive Development of the Nation’. The conference was established by the Scientific and Industrial Research-National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL), New Delhi, marking the 4th anniversary of its establishment.

On Sunday, the prime minister announced on Twitter that he would join. He wrote, “The National Meteorology Conclave will be inaugurated on January 4, at 11 am. The National Atomic Timescale and Indian Director Dravya will be dedicated to this nation. The foundation stone of the National Environmental Standards Lab will also be laid.

The news agency PTI reported that the National Atomic Time Scale has created Indian Standard Time with an accuracy of 2.6 nanoseconds.

According to PTI, the National Environmental Standards Laboratory will assist in the certification of ambient air and industrial emissions monitoring devices. A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on Sunday said Union Minister for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, Dr Harsh Vardhan would be present on the occasion.
