Film actress Kangana Ranaut had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court on behalf of BMC seeking compensation of Rs 2 crore for sabotage in the office on September 29. Kangana alleged that the action was taken against her for speaking out against the ruling Shiv Sena leader of Maharashtra. This group is looking at the municipality, so it has vandalized and abused the authority.
Kangana has been a target of the Maharashtra government since the Mumbai police criticized the investigation into Sushant Singh’s death. He compared Mumbai to “Pakistan-occupied Kashmir” and “Pakistan” which later sparked political controversy.
The ruling coalition in Maharashtra accused Kangana of furthering the Bharatiya Janata Party’s political agenda. Kangana has been given Y-class protection from the BJP-led central government amid controversy among Shiv Sena leaders.

Kangana said the claim made by the BMC in response to their sabotage plea was arbitrary and without sufficient evidence. Significantly, on September 9, hours after the BMC sabotage began, the Bombay High Court banned the alleged illegal construction. The court also sought reply from BMC on Kangana’s plea seeking interim relief against the sabotage.
On September 6, the BMC office issued a stop work notice to complete the renovation and work. The Bombay High Court will hear the petition and the BMC’s response on September 22.
Notably, Kangana Ranaut is constantly talking about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and the connection of Bollywood drugs. A Twitter battle broke out between him and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Even Sanjay Raut called Kangana a ‘haramkhor’ girl. But the NCP and Congress in the Maharashtra coalition government were also criticized for the BMC’s move at Kangana’s office. Kangana, on the other hand, met Maharashtra Governor BC Koshyari on the issue.
