Kamal Nath, who was campaigning for Congress candidate Surendra Rajesh in Dabra, Madhya Pradesh, handed over an item to BJP candidate Imrati Devi. Kamal Nath said, “Suresh Rajesh ji is our candidate, simple in nature. They will do it, they are not like him, what is his nameā€¦. Notably, Imarati Devi was also the Minister for Women and Child Development in the Kamalnath government. He was close to Jyotiraditya Scindia and he also joined the BJP after Scindia revolted from the Congress.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reacted sharply to the remarks of former CM Kamal Nath. He tweeted, “Kamal Nath! Imrati Devi is the name of the daughter of a poor farmer who started working in the village and is now helping to build the country as a government servant. Congress has called me hungry and naked Has expressed feudal thinking.

In another tweet, Shivraj said, “Those who describe themselves as ‘Merida Purushottam’ are using such obscene language?” The country is worshiping women on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, thus your statement reflects your petty mentality. It is better to take back your word and apologize to every girl in the state including Imrati Devi. ‘

Shivraj will keep silence for two hours

Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to remain silent for two hours in protest of Kamal Nath’s statement. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “I will silently protest against the statement of Congress leader Kamal Nath from 10 am to 12 noon tomorrow, where he has been described as an item to BJP leader Imrati Devi. They should be ashamed of their statement.”
