IND vs Aus: Australia take a big hit, fast bowler out of Sydney Test

Before the third match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia, the Australian team suffered a major blow. The team’s fast bowler James Pattinson has been ruled out of the Sydney Test due to a rib injury. Pattinson suffered the injury at his home when he left the team. Australia have not announced a replacement for them. Pattinson, however, has so far failed to play in two Tests.

The team has said that no one will be included in their squad as a replacement and their position will be known before the fourth Test. The third Test of the series between India and Australia will be played in Sydney from January to January. Team India tied the series 1-1 by winning the Boxing-Day Test match. India, led by Ajinkya Rahane, lost to Australia by 8 wickets. Rahane played a great batting innings of 112 runs. At the same time, in bowling, the Australian batsmen committed suicide altogether with Jaspreet Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground was kept as a reserve venue for the third Test in the wake of a growing case of coronavirus, and it was hoped that if the situation in Sydney was not brought under control, the third Test could be the same. Teams from India and Australia have left for Sydney for the third Test. Earlier, India suffered a humiliating defeat in the day-night Test match in Adelaide due to the excellent performance of the Australian bowlers. Team India can score only 336 runs in the second innings which is also the lowest score in Test cricket.
