Corona vaccine: Dry run across UP from January 5, campaign in six places in Lucknow tomorrow

Dry operations will be conducted at six places in Lucknow on Saturday, January 2 to prepare for the vaccination. A dry run will be promoted in the state from January 5.

Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Shehgal and Additional Chief Secretary Medical Amit Mohan Prasad said the operation in Lucknow would be conducted at six locations at CHC Mall, Malihabad, Sahara Hospital, KGMU, RML and PGI. After that, a dry run campaign will be run in the entire state from January 5.

He said that preparations are underway for vaccination, under which the covid chain is being expanded, stored and arranged. In addition, CCTV cameras are being installed at vaccination sites. In addition to the storage of covid vaccine, arrangements will be made to preserve the vaccine target groups in phases.

So far, one crore tests have been taken through RTPCR

He said that in the last 24 hours, 12,633 people had been discharged and returned home, and that 81 new patients had arrived in Corona. A total of 5,644,541 people have been rescued and released from Kovid-19 so far. The recovery percentage of Covid-19 in the state is 96.21.

Containment zones and hotspot areas have also declined due to less infection in the state. The state is the first state in the country to have more than 2.40 crore tests of Covid-19 so far, of which more than one crore have been tested by RTPCRE alone. Door-to-door survey work is also progressing fast. The team from the health department also surveyed the information of Kovid-19 infection and reached about 150 million people through surveillance.

He said the state was controlling the infection as per the agreement. The World Health Organization has praised the unique initiative of treaty recognition. A total of 1,44,005 samples were tested in the state in one day yesterday. So far, a total of 2,40,87,277 samples have been tested, of which more than one crore have been searched through RTPCR. There have been 871 new cases of corona infection in the state in the last 24 hours. Out of 13,8331 active cases of corona in the state, 5924 are homeless. 1,291 people are being treated in private hospitals.
