Britain said last month that a new form of coronavirus had been found in their country. Many countries, including India, shut down British flights with immediate effect, but the virus spread to many more countries, including India. In five days, 29 variants of this variant known as B.1.1.7 have been found in India. Currently, people from Britain to India and those who have come in contact with them in the last 36 days are being sought.
From November 25 to midnight on December 23, about 33,000 passengers from the UK arrived at various airports in India. Now all these passengers are being tracked and their RT-PCR is being tested.

The first cases came on Tuesday
On Tuesday, December 29, for the first time in India, a new strain of coronavirus has been identified. After that, the government started looking for communication. The new UK version was found in three samples at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Hospital (NIMMANS), Bangalore. In addition to this, 2 Cellular and Microbiology of Hyderabad and a National Institute of Virology have been found in Pune.
There were 14 more cases in India on Wednesday
On December 30, 14 more people returned to India from Britain, a new strain of the coronavirus was found, after which the number reached 20. Four of the new patients are from Delhi. Of these 14 patients, 7 samples were tested at the National Center of Disease in Delhi, 4 at Nymphans, the Institute of Integrative Biology in Delhi and the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics in West Bengal.
Five more patients on Thursday, 25 patients in India
Five more coronavirus positive cases were found on Thursday in which a new strain was found. Of these latest 5 cases, 4 were investigated at the National Virology Institute in Pune and one at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology in Delhi. Affected people are isolated in government health centers.
Four more patients were found on Friday
So far, a total of 29 people have been found infected with the new strain of coronavirus in India. According to the Ministry of Health, 4 of these cases were found on Friday.
