Controversy over kissing scene in Tabu-Ishaan’s web series A Suitable Boy, MP Home Minister gave instructions for action

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has directed the police officers to take action in the matter, describing the release of a web series called ‘A Suitable Boy’ on the OTT media platform as extremely objectionable. Actress Tabu, Ishaan Khattar have worked in the web series.

Narottam Mishra has objected to the kissing scene depicted in the temple in the web series. Home Minister Narottam Mishra said through the tweet that the film featured extremely objectionable scenes, which hurt the feelings of a particular religion. He has directed the police officers to get this controversial content tested.

The Home Minister said that the police officers will test and tell what legal action can be taken against the concerned OTT platform and the director of the film for hurting religious sentiments. According to Mishra, the film contains objectionable scenes at a religious place.

At the same time, Gaurav Tiwari associated with BJP Yuva Morcha has also targeted the web series. He has filed an FIR against this in Rewa of the state. Gaurav Tiwari tweeted, “In its ‘A Suitable Boy’ program, Netflix filmed kissing scenes in the temple premises thrice in a single episode. According to the script, a Hindu woman is in love with a Muslim young man, but why were all the kissing scenes shot in the temple courtyard? I have lodged an FIR in Rewa on this matter. ”

In another tweet, Gaurav Tiwari wrote that do not consider the tolerance of Hindus as their weakness, it is an insult not only to Madhya Pradesh but also to Lord Shiva and crores of Shiva devotees. Will have to apologize.
