Co-Win app launched for coronary vaccination? Learn how to download and register

Both Kovishield and Kovaxin have been approved for emergency use by the Drug Control General of India (DCGI). Vaccination campaigns have just been announced. Both the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech are ready to provide the required dose in the first phase.

In the first stage, the frontline coroner Warrior will be vaccinated. It will be borne by the central government. Co-Win (Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network) launched an app center for this vaccination process.

1. The Union Health Minister had earlier said that people would be able to register themselves for the vaccine through this app. However, this will happen after the vaccine is given to the frontline workers identified by the local authorities.

2. The app has not been launched yet. It is not currently available in the Play Store.

3. The application is at the pre-product stage which has been accessed by the health authority. Through this, data of health workers is being uploaded, which will get the vaccine in the first stage. More than 755 lakh beneficiaries have been registered during the dry run.

4. It was jointly developed by the Union Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

5. As of now, the app is not accessible to the public or has no self-registration. It is only being accessed by the authorities because the app was also tested while the vaccine was drying.

Launch. Once launched, the app will have four modules: User Admin Module, Beneficiary Registration, Vaccination and Beneficiary Receipt and Status Update.

Benefic. Beneficiary registration module will be available for those who want to register themselves. Under this there will be three options: self registration, personal registration and bulk upload.

. With self-registration, beneficiaries will be able to register directly through the web. Later also from mobile application. Photo ID will be required for registration. If a person registers himself or herself, the data will be verified by verifying whether he is above 50 or below 50.

9. Surveyors and Deputy Commissioners will also be able to register beneficiaries.

10. There will be no spot registration at any stage of priority group vaccination.

Only frontline workers will be vaccinated in the first two steps. This is followed by people over the age of 50 who are at risk for high coronary infections. Union Health Minister. Harshvardhan has made it clear that the vaccine will be free for frontline colonies. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
