The nomination of 1514 candidates for the second phase of 94 seats in Bihar has been proved valid. According to the information received from the Election Department, 1717 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for the second round of elections. According to the information received, after the last date of submission of nomination papers, on October 1, the nomination papers were checked and selected and 203 nomination papers were canceled. The last date for withdrawal of nominations for the second round is 19 October.

According to the information received, the nomination papers of only 4 candidates in the Daruli (Su) assembly constituency of Siwan have been proved to be valid. The nomination papers of maximum 26 candidates in Maharajganj parliamentary constituency of Siwan have been proved valid. It is noteworthy that after the withdrawal of nominations for 711 seats in the first phase, 106666 candidates are in the fray.

240 nomination papers have been submitted in the third phase

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh said the nomination process for the third phase of .7 seats has started from October 13. So far 240 candidates have submitted nomination papers in the third phase. Nomination papers for this episode will be submitted by October 20, and the last date for verification and selection of nomination papers and withdrawal of nominations by October 23 is October 21.
