Goa: A ward boy of a government hospital in Goa was arrested on Sunday for allegedly molesting two minor sisters in a lift. A police officer gave this information. Based on a complaint lodged by the relatives of the victims, the officer said, “The ward boy followed them to the lift and he allegedly molested them for a few days.” He said that on the basis of the complaint, the 47-year-old accused was arrested and a case has been registered against him under sections of the law. Apart from this, the police also registered a case against a doctor from Mapusa who is accused of molesting a female patient in his clinic on 22 September. The officer said that the said woman, in her complaint lodged with the police, has said that the doctor behaved in a derogatory manner with her during the checkup. The official said that the doctor has moved the court seeking anticipatory bail in the matter.
