Varanasi. Another record was set in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shibangi Singh of Lieutenant Varanasi has been included in the squadron Golden Arrow of the fighter aircraft Raphael. Children from the vicinity gathered at Shivangi’s house in Phulwaria, Varanasi and celebrated with the family. In Shivangi’s success, mother Seema Singh said that her daughter had fulfilled her dream.
Shivangi’s posting is currently in Rajasthan. Regarding Shivangi’s childhood, his mother said that he was a committed student from the very beginning. After completing his primary schooling, he went to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for higher studies. After qualifying for a month of technical training, he has now joined Raphael’s team.
Shivangi’s father Kumareshwar Singh said that we are proud that our daughter will win the country. He was part of the 7 UP Air Squadron in the National Cadet Corps at BHU. He was an NCC cadet from BHU from 2013 to 2015. Sunbeam has done BSCO from Bhagwanpur. Shivangi represented the Uttar Pradesh team in the 2013 Republic Day parade in Delhi. He joined the Air Force Academy in 2016 for training. On 16 December 2017, he was conferred the title of Fighter Pilot at the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad. Shibangi is a fighter pilot of MiG-21 after completing his training in Hyderabad.
Kumareshwar Singh said that the value of the daughter has increased. The father said the information was received a day before he spoke to his daughter. We are proud of our daughter. He has become Nazir to another daughter. Describing it as the biggest achievement of his life, he said that now the dream of seeing the girl blowing Raphael will also come true. Shivangi’s mother Seema Singh is a housemaid and his brother Mayank is a class XII student in Banaras. (IANS)
