School admissions date extended in Shimla
The education department has extended the last date for admission to schools till September 18. Earlier, the last date for admission in schools was fixed as August 31. There were complaints with the department that a large number of students have been denied admission, among which there were many students who studied in outside states and returned to their states during the Corona period.
In the notification issued by the Directorate of Higher Education, it has been said that students can take admission in class 1 to 12 till September 18. This is the third time that the education department has extended the date of admission. Earlier, the date of admission was also extended on June 25 and August 10.
