Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has said that the proposal issued on August 10 to open the school is on hold, it has not been withdrawn yet. According to this proposal, schools for classes 8 to 12 in urban areas and classes 5 to 8 in rural areas were to be opened from Tuesday. But due to non-issuance of official order in this regard, many schools are confused. Gaikwad has said that a decision will be taken soon in this regard.
Preparations to open schools going on in UP
The UP government had talked about opening a school for the children of classes 6 to 8 from August 23 and preparations are also going on for this. At the same time, the government had also said that from September 1, schools can also open for students of classes 1 to 5. According to the information received from the Chief Minister’s Office, secondary, higher secondary, technical and vocational education has started with 50% capacity.
Schools will open in Karnataka from next week, guidelines issued
The Karnataka government had already announced the opening of the school from next week. Guidelines have been issued regarding this. In 23 districts of the state where the positivity rate is less than 2%, schools for classes 9 and 10 will open from August 23. Attendance is not mandatory for students in schools. All teachers should have received at least one dose of the vaccine and for the time being there will be a ban on group activities in schools.
